## Quick Assessments Overview

**Quick Assessments** provide the fastest way to capture and score a store observation. Unlike self-assessments (which use templates) or department evals (which target a specific department), quick assessments are freeform photo-based evaluations.

### How It Works

- Navigate to [Evaluations → Assessments](/evaluations#assessments)
- Select **Quick Assessment**
- Choose a store and capture one or more photos
- AI instantly analyzes the photos and provides a score with detailed observations
- Optionally add notes or create action items from the findings

### Use Cases

- Spot-checking a specific area without a full template
- Documenting issues for follow-up with a photo and AI analysis
- Quick before/after comparisons of remediated areas
