## Challenges Overview

**Challenges** are admin-created, time-bound competitions that motivate stores to improve in specific areas.

### Challenge Types

- **Score Target** — stores compete to hit a target score
- **Most Improved** — greatest score improvement wins
- **Walk Count** — stores compete on number of completed walks
- **Highest Score** — the highest single walk score wins

### Creating a Challenge

- Go to [Leaderboard](/leaderboard) and click **Create Challenge**
- Set a name, type, start and end dates
- Optionally scope to a **specific template section** (e.g., "Cleanliness" only)
- Optionally scope to a **region** or the entire organization
- Add **prizes** or incentive descriptions

When a challenge ends, it is **finalized** and winners are determined. Participants receive email notifications with the final results.
